30-MAY-07

I spent most of the day painting this one rung ladder white.

29-MAY-07

It's Johnny's birthday tomorrow. So I made him a card to remember, then took a pic of the screen and sent it to K so she could see it. Ah the wonders of technology.

28-MAY-07

I resisted the temptation to eat K's last two pieces of Toblerone and took a photo of it instead. They'd gone the next day!

27-MAY-07

Spent most of the day shredding paper.

26-MAY-07

So when was the last time you went into a launderette? It was just like stepping into another world. I just loved the fact that all the machines were different.

25-MAY-07

K got a new toy today... and I was stuck for POTD!

24-MAY-07

K and I went for a drive and came across this burnt out Audi. Set the camera on timer on a long exposure and just rested it on the road. Used the light from K's car headlights which picked out the colours of the cones and sky really well.

23-MAY-07

Pegs!! Well I thought they looked quite interesting, as far as pegs go.

22-MAY-07

I wish I had a bell like this :-)

21-MAY-07

Johnny and I were taking pics of the sunset from my window, then I turned around and saw this which amused me. Sometimes the best pics aren't necessarily in front of you.

20-MAY-07

The BHF Cotswold bike ride for the 4th year running. At least it didn't rain this year.

19-MAY-07

Lydney docks and they have these stones drilled out so you can see various landmarks. This was pointing to the Severn bridge. Fascinating!

18-MAY-07

Dogs dinner! I'm not sure if KC was trying to tell us something??

17-MAY-07

Graffiti that put a smile on my face.

27 May 2007

16-MAY-07

Dead umbrella, that just couldn't take anymore rain.

15-MAY-07

Had a play with 30 sec exposure time and a torch.

14-MAY-07

Yes another night shot but I have discovered if you put the camera on self timer then you avoid camera shake at low shutter speeds.

13-MAY-07

When the sky is grey and the heavens open, what else could POTD have been? Something you see regularly but never really see. This was captured using my little compact digital and a lot of patience.

12-MAY-07

KC and I took a little trip upto Gloucester. He was really excited!!

11-MAY-07

Just a random shot of my food cupboard at Johnny's.

10-MAY-07

It's funny you can see something which catches your eye for days then you get round to making it POTD and the next day it's gone. I actually loved the colours on this photo.

09-MAY-07

I just liked the sign with the door and blocked up window in the background.

08-MAY-07

This is what POTD is about. Taking an everyday site and making it look different. What could be more ordinary than bins? But taking this shot at night on a long exposure makes it more interesting, especially the with colours and lighting.

07-MAY-07

Nice iron bridge across the rail tracks.

06-MAY-07

Bluebells look amazing when you see a carpet of them in the woods, but it's good to look at them as individual flowers as they are equally beautiful.

05-MAY-07

Sometimes you find POTD on your doorstep or should I say your neighbours doorstep. I just wanted to know why?

04-MAY-07

Take one kids toy (a kaleidoscope) and watch a dvd (The Machinist) and it's a perfect recipe for POTD

03-MAY-07

It's that time again! Fascinating, these signs don't seem to have changed since I was a kid.

02-MAY-07

Fish have to cope with river works too and how else would they get their shopping home?

01-MAY-07

KC learning the fine art of "pick up stick"!

30-APR-07

Went out for a cycle in the forest... and it's scenery like this that makes me really appreciate living down this neck of the woods... so to speak.

29-APR-07

Managed to rope K into a works charity run. Apparently we ran the 2.6 miles in exactly the same time...freaky!! So how long did it take us?? 22.27mins.

28-APR-07

Went to visit the birds at Slimbridge Wildlife and wetlands trust. Also another excuse to try out the new camera...still getting use to it though!

27-APR-07

Another photoshoot, with the photographer getting down on the job!

26-APR-07

All I could see was yellow fields going on for miles and miles. Usually you see one or two fields but this was like a sea of yellow.

25-APR-07

A great use for old wellies.

24-APR-07

Photoshoot in a barbers... does it get any more glamorous than this?

23-APR-07

Tools of my trade.

22-APR-07

Colby and Maverick posing for the camera.

21-APR-07

Got back from Hungary today and we were really happy to see Kacy. So we had a chilled out afternoon at the pub with a pint and one flaked out pooch.

20-APR-07

Chairs in the underground near the Stadium in Budapest.

19-APR-07

Today we travelled on pretty much all modes of public transport available in Budapest. This was take whilst on the 'childrens railway' named because it is run by children. So now you know.

18-APR-07

Now you do see some strange sites when abroad. This was one of those sites!!

17-APR-07

Interesting road construction site in Hungary... Not that I travelled all this way just to look at construction sites!

16-APR-07

Flying over the Alps on our way to see my folks in Hungary.

15-APR-07

Today was an excellent day as I got to go on Thomas the Tank Engine... He is really real!! I took my god-daughter and her parents along for the ride too. It was great seeing the cartoon come to life.

14-APR-07

Kacy's new friend.

13-APR-07

Eating chips in the car at Newnham. They weren't that nice.

12-APR-07

Kacy making another appearance.

11-APR-07

On my way to work, the sky looked amazing with streaks of light coming through the clouds.
