Today I went to the funeral of Fred Stubbs, who was the man who resprayed my camper van. After the funeral I met K for lunch and this bench just caught my eye. It made me think of Fred who was always there, he had friends who would visit him, but he was also on his own.

Finally the rain has stopped, so since it's starting to feel like summer again, it was time to have a ice cream. Actually I just really liked the ice cream with the sky background.

I had to mend a leak in the van and replace the carpet with lino as it's more practical to keep clean and it looks good too. Kacy is the must have accessory for camper vans!

I not sure what's happening to K, but today she was making ginger bread people when I got home. They tasted great too. I think she might be turning into a domestic goddess.

This was the first time K cooked a bolognese on her own, from scratch...and it was delicious. mmm.

Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink... Well this seems to be the case at the moment. There is plenty of flood water but the water supply has been cut off and so everyone has to either get bottled water or collect it from the water bowsers. I guess it's one way to get us to appreciate how precious our water is.
